End of Day 6 (Interior walls are being placed.)

Yay for pictures!  I decided to do a post like this one so all of you can see the progress of a Habitat home as well as read my ramblings.  So this is my and Andrew (Catfish)'s first house together; I'll be able to see the house from start to finish which is pretty exciting.

The volunteers who have come and worked on the house with us have been amazing.  We've had a sorority from Southeastern University, high schoolers from a Jewish private school in San Diego, a pair of lottery winners from Pittsburgh, a group of friends who grew up together from New York, a farmer from Indiana, a Tar Heel fan from Washington D.C., a "jack-of-all-trades" from Nashville, and a man named Mark from San Jose who volunteered with Habitat for a whole month.  I list all of them knowing that they each played a small role in getting this house to where it is now.  Whether it was by pouring concrete mix in cement blocks or building walls, the house is closer to becoming a home for one lucky family.
